Karen Shelton joined The Audiology Offices in 1998 as an Administrative Assistant and now serves as its Business Manager and Audiology Assistant. Karen's administrative skills and commitment to patient care exemplify the best of the best.

Karen works out of the main office in Kilmarnock, Monday through Friday.  She expertly manages all patient billing, including the ever time consuming task of working with health insurance companies.  Karen has completed certification as an Audiology Assistant for Diagnostic Testing.  Our patients are happy when they walk in our office with non functioning hearing instruments, and most of the time, she can diagnose and repair the device on the spot.  If the device needs factory service, she will provide a loaner hearing instrument if necessary.

Karen resides with her husband Mike and two daughters, Nicole and Danielle in Lancaster County.

Our patients are surprised to learn she has a moderate to severe hearing loss and has worn hearing instruments since childhood.
